We are Repair Café Glasgow

and we can help you get stuff fixed

Come along to our monthly repair café, bring your broken stuff, and we'll help you repair it.

We meet up on the last Saturday each month to try fix things which might be thrown away too soon.

    WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

If you love what we do and would like to get involved then please come along to our next café and have a chat with us. We'd love to show you around and talk about what we do.

There's loads of ways you can get involved. You could be a repairer and have a go at fixing the weird and wonderful things that people bring along to our café. You could greet people at reception when they arrive, help with the café,  or get involved with our behind-the-scenes team doing event planning or social media.

Want to request a pop-up Repair Café for your community group? Or keen to volunteer? Get involved here.

    SOCIAL

Grab coffee, tea and tasty treats! Chat with old friends and make new ones. Our cafe is here during events to help make you feel comfortable and welcome while your item is being assessed and hopefully repaired.

    ECONOMIC

Sometimes a very simple repair is all that is needed to fix a broken or damaged item. This saves the unnecessary cost of a replacement. When we send less waste to landfill, environmental costs are also reduced and the whole community benefits!

    ENVIRONMENTAL

Repair extends a product's useable life, reduces waste and pollution, and saves energy, carbon emissions and finite non-renewable resources. It reduces the need to recycle which can deplete more resources than producing something new.
